Applied Golf Technology’s reputation has been built upon our ability to produce high performance, custom-fit golf clubs. We cater for all golfers, irrespective of ability or age. We use the finest quality premium brand clubheads from Miura, KZ Golf and other specialist suppliers, and combine these with a wide range of shaft and grip options from the leading brands in the industry. Our fitting sessions, using the latest test equipment, ensure that our clubs best match the players’ own particular swing requirements. After deciding on the spec., the clubs are then built to very tight tolerances in order to ensure optimum performance and feel.

Shaft Fitting and Shaft Replacement
Golfers are constantly seeking that elusive golf shaft which will provide them with greater control, more distance and a nice feel. As a result, the after-market shaft replacement business is thriving. At AGT we make a point of keeping up to date with all the latest shaft developments, in order to offer our customers the best possible advice on the subject. We use the Htec interchangeable hosel system to switch shafts quickly in our test clubs, and the highly accurate Trackman flight data to compare shots. Shaft testing doesn’t get any better than this. The customer also has the added option of having their shaft aligned for optimum performance.

Club Adjustments and Repairs
Loft & lie adjustments and re-gripping form the basis of our equipment support services. Dynamic lie checks are used to determine a player’s lie angle requirements and most irons can then be adjusted to suit. Some cast irons may not be adjustable because of the type of steel used in their manufacture. Grip size is important in relation to club feel and performance. For this reason, grip-sizing is provided as an essential part of our grip-replacement service. Club length is a key factor in good ball striking and we can lengthen or shorten clubs as required.

Equipment Evaluation / Troubleshooting Sessions
Most golfers have no idea of their equipment spec. We can measure these for you. You may be experiencing problems in your game right now with a particular club and you re not sure if this is due to a swing fault or equipment problem. An equipment troubleshooting session should soon identify whether the problem is equipment-related or swing- related. In the case of the former the AGT technical staff will advise you how to remedy the problem or in the case of the latter we will refer you to one of the Academy’s coaching staff for advice.

Launch Launch monitors are now an essential tool in club-fitting and equipment customisation. Whether you want to compare club performance, test shafts, determine your yardages or have clubs fitted or customised, accurate launch monitor data is invaluable.
