Hit the target more often

Every golfer should know how far they hit the ball with each iron and wedge in their set. If not then hitting the target is more a matter of luck rather than informed judgement. However up until recently, the logistics involved in determining your yardages have been somewhat challenging.

You have to find an area when you can hit balls with each club and measure distances. Then you need to pick a day where the temperature is relatively normal with no wind. Finally you need a supply of the same balls that you normally play on the golf course.

Only in this way can you be sure that the yardages are reliable. Not surprising then that very few golfers make the effort to measure their yardages. Until now that is.

Newly released Trackman software allows you to hit shots indoors in the absence of wind with the ball of your choice. Now you can easily determine your yardages with accuracy and precision. If your yardage gaps are not ideal then we can fine tune these by adjusting the lofts of your clubs.

At the end of a 1 hour session you will leave with your known list of yardages and your clubs adjusted for optimum yardage increments. Think of what that will do for your game.
