Since the day Applied Golf Technology was launched back in 1997 a key objective was to ensure that our clubfitting and clubmaking services remain state-of-the-art. As such we are proud of our track record in pioneering high tech custom fitting in Scotland.

This includes:

• First to promote high tech custom fitting in Bunkered, Scotland’s leading golf magazine
• First to offer shaft alignment
• First to offer launch monitor club fitting sessions
• First to offer niche custom brands such as Miura, KZG, Nakashima and MLA
• First to use quick change club connectors from Nakashima
• First to provide full equipment support to the Scottish Institute of Sport, the Scottish Golf Union and the Scottish Ladies Golfing Association
• First to use Trackman as a club-fitting tool
• First Scottish National Fitting Centres for Callaway and Ping
• First Scottish fitting centre for Matrix and Mitsubishi premier golf shafts
• First to introduce unique specialist equipment support services such as moment of inertia (MOI) matching, wedge optimisation, sole grinding and extreme putter fitting.

From the outset our goal has been to actively seek out and evaluate new technical developments in the golf equipment industry, identifying game improvement and performance enhancing features which can be incorporated into our club fitting and clubmaking programmes.

Our team of equipment specialists have been trained to a very high standard in order to provide a top level service at the AGT Custom Fit Centre in St Andrews
